Pat, Prickly Porcupine, is sensitive, and when he does something wrong, he feels terrible. In Prickly Porcupine Listens to His Feelings, Pat learns that his feelings have meaning and are best listened to. When he ignores his reluctance to play a prank on a classmate, he suffers afterwards. This time, though, he pays attention and figures out a way to make amends. In the process, he makes a friend.

A light and engaging story to teach children how to manage their emotions. It's a good book for adults as well, as many forget that emotions are messages that need to be interpreted.
