U.Q. Penn loves to read, explore and create art, especially kiln-formed glass art.  She is passionate about self-development, and her journey of self-discovery has taken her around the world and along many inner paths.

U. Q. Penn began writing children’s books to encourage kids to embrace their uniqueness, spark their creativity, and grow into the best versions of themselves. Through her stories, she hopes to make children feel kind, confident, creative and curious.

U. Q. Penn is currently working on her next picture book, as well as a YA novel.   She lives in the lower Hudson Valley, NY.
