U.Q. Penn loves to read, explore and create art, especially kiln-formed glass art.  She fell in love with the comic form in 2023 when she taught herself Adobe Illustrator.

U. Q. Penn began writing children’s books to encourage kids to embrace their uniqueness, spark their creativity, and grow into the best versions of themselves. Through her stories, she hopes to make children feel kind, confident, creative and curious.

​U. Q. Penn is currently working on her next picture book, and YA comic.   She lives in the lower Hudson Valley, NY.
